Ruby was born on 11th July 2005. As her name implies, she is a little gem in every way, from her temperament to the beautiful colours in her coat. She is the most sweet natured of dogs and loves attention. Our son is often found curled up in her bed with her for a cuddle, and she is so gentle with him. She can say so much by her expressions, we talk to her and she talks back with her face, it is so endearing. Whenever, Honey does something wrong (as she often did when we were still house training her!) Ruby would look at us with a sheepish look then a disapproving look at Honey and then back at us, as though she were saying ‘it was her!’
Ruby hates being bathed, but she tolerates it for us, with an expression of total despair throughout the process. Once out of the bath she races around the house like a mad thing, but she forgets herself on the stairs and usually ends up in a heap at the bottom because she tries to run and her back legs overtake her front legs-its very funny to watch.

Honey was born in Ruby’s first litter on 7th June 2007. Our reason for planning the litter was to keep a pup for ourselves and although we could easily have kept them all, as we had to choose just one-Honey won hands down. She is so full of character, such a comical little thing and like all bulldogs, she loves attention. One of her favourite greetings is to lick us all over, she particularly likes our son’s ears which she gives a good wash. I know, I know, that sounds revolting-because it IS revolting, but Jack loves it! Honey is very enthusiastic about everything she does. If we go for ‘walkies’ she gets so excited and she wants to run all the way, if she has to jump she takes a running jump, if we come home after being out, we are overwhelmed by the welcome (Ruby’s the same with that).
With regards to her stunning looks I think the photos say it all. Honey is a bright honey red and almost glows such is the vibrancy of her coat. She has a lovely little tail that is always wagging.

She is our ‘golden girl’.
